The Malta Customs Administration proudly presents the 'Nothing to Declare' video game, created to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the EU Customs Union. This interactive experience provides an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding and appreciation for the daily work carried out by EU Customs Administrations in promoting legitimate trade while safeguarding EU citizens.

In the game, you will explore three different locations: the Airport, the Freeport, and the Post Sorting Facility. As a new recruit in the Customs team, you will be mentored by Reggie, your experienced boss.

Utilizing shared international intelligence, you will be tasked with identifying and interrogating suspicious inbound passengers. Your objective is to apprehend individuals whose appearance matches those mentioned in the daily intelligence reports or those who exhibit suspicious behavior, such as exiting through incorrect doors or carrying pets. Accuracy and attention to detail are paramount - there is no room for mistakes!

Meanwhile, at the Port, a constant flow of trucks must pass through state-of-the-art fixed deep X-Ray scanners. Time is of the essence as you compare Bill of Lading documents with the actual contents of containers. This involves closely examining container identifiers, supplier names, and declared goods - revealing unexpected surprises planned by certain shippers!

With an ever-increasing number of parcels being shipped to the island each year, sniffer dogs become invaluable assets. You will be responsible for inspecting all suspicious packages identified by these highly-trained canines, particularly those originating from outside the EU or with unusually low declaration values.
